This Easter the church may be empty, but so is the grave.

We are pausing for Holy Week.
Here are some ideas for how to make this week special, even though most of us are sheltering in place and won’t be able to participate in the typical Easter traditions.

How to Make Resurrection Eggs
How to Make Communion Bread (recipe courtesy of Well Read Beth)
Mix 2 1/2 c. Flour (I use 1 1/2 cups all purpose and 1 cup wheat), 1/2 tsp. salt, 3/4 c + 1T olive oil, and 1/2 c. Ice water. (You may not use all the water.) Divide into 4 sections. It makes a very wet dough that will roll out better once it’s been chilled. Roll out 1/4” thick. Salt the top to taste after you roll it out or after you bake it. Cut into small squares.
Bake at 375 for 15 min.
This recipe makes 4 weeks worth – each section is a week- just freeze the other 3.
