Fruits of the Spirit Intro: Season 2!

Welcome to Season 2! We’ve got goals like becoming more involved in our Facebook community and finding genuine connection as we all edit our lives together.

We’re kicking off Season 2 with a deep dive into a discussion about the Fruits of the Spirit. If you know the song, we’d love to hear you sing it! Be sure to tag us @aroughdraftlife on all the socials.

We’re starting off with a series looking at each individual fruit of the Spirit. In the introduction we talk about why we’re doing this series and establish where we are coming from as we enter this discussion. And because Kristi and Lindsey can’t seem to stay on track, we may also discuss hand sanitizer caddies, new books, and Hamilton.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Galatians 5:22 NASB

Hope you’ll join us for this discussion about each of these traits the Holy Spirit can help you exhibit in your daily life. We want this to be a practical discussion in terms of right now. So we won’t be going in order as we discuss these characteristics.

Next week we’re diving into self-control as our first discussion–in what we hope is a real life application as your own season shifts back into a school mode–no matter how school looks for your family this year.

We hope you’ll contribute to the conversation whether as part of our Facebook community or through social media comments. We know exhibiting these traits is hard, but that’s why they are considered fruits of the Spirit–you need the Spirit in order to practice these characteristics. Which takes off some of the pressure, right?

Don’t miss Kristi’s new book Vying for the Viscount out this week!
